Miyu's first day at Melfar

     I look up at the large building in front of me looking it over from head to toe.

     "I'm here huh~nyu?" I quietly mutter to myself as I approach the gates. 

     "Welcome to the academy! My name's Kanako," she said while smiling at me. Surprised, I start dematerializing myself to hide in my headphones when I manage to calm myself down and stop.

    "H..h..h..h..hello I'm m..m..Miyu Aria," I meekly respond shaking from my nervousness. I quietly nuzzle my face into my scarf a little bit.

    "Nice to meet you Miyu," she smiles,"I do apologize for startling you."

    "T..t..thank you~nyu, b..b..but its fine I'm e..e..easily startled~nyu," I nervously respond while looking at her tail moving back and forth. "T..t..this is Melfar A..academy right?"

    "It sure is," Kanako enthusiastically answers.

    Scared, I lay my ears on my head down. While shaking, I ask another question, while I wrap my tails around my body. "d..d..do these large gates open~nyu, or a..a..are we s..s..supposed to f..f..fly over them~nyu?" Hugging fubi, I breathe a sigh of relief that I was able to ask my question to kanako.

    "The Gates do open," she replies while smiling again which helps me calm down a little. I quickly ask how they open wanting to get inside, but to my surprise, the gates open themselves. I quickly say good bye to Kanako and begin to head towards the front door of the school. As I enter the doors, I see a light blue haired girl but quickly dismiss her as I need to find some things; however, I am lost as I forgot to look at the school map before I left.

    "Another crawler cursed kitten. We should rename the school Kitten-something then at least everyone would know what's going on..." ??? (mumbles loud enough for me to hear), but I dismiss it as I don't know who she is talking to and if she is referring to me.

    "At least this kitten doesn't hug everyone." She mumbles to herself looking as if she she is talking to someone.

    This causes me to wonder if there is a catgirl who likes hugging people at the school. Then, I notice what looks like a spider nodding in agreement on her arm causing me to scream and vanish into my headphones in a flurry of data. As the headphones hit the ground you can hear the sound of the plastic going ka-chink on the floor. I began crying and mumbling from fear inside the headphones, not noticing she came over and picked up the headphones.

    "I want onee-sama or my stuffed animals or mommy," I mumble while crying in the background of music playing in a foreign language unrecognizable.

    "And what is this supposed to be?" (??? mumbled to herself as she examined the headphones she was holding). However, I was too upset and scared to respond. I end up mumbling to myself about a peaceful civilization that was unable to fight back against a sudden invasion of massive spiders and how it was a massacre as the civilization wouldn't even hurt a fly. Everyone was killed even me and my family, before the attack.

    "They had it coming," she tosses the headphones upset leaving. I spend around five minutes crying in my headphones before coming out and sitting down, when I suddenly see a light blue haired catgirl come up to me.

     "Welcome to the school. I hope you have a great time. Oh and I'm Dakota." The cat girl spoke softly to me. However, still shaken, I look up into her eyes shaking, really nervous.

     "Y..y..y..you don't have any s...s...s..spiders do you~nyu?" I try speaking through my timidity and fear of my earlier encounter.

     "Spiders? No I have a kitten though," she smiles to me as she kindly spoke this. This calms me down enough to show interest and unwrap my tails allowing them to move about.

    "Y..y..you have a kitten~nyu?" asking with slightly more confidence due to my love of cats.

    "I do. His name is Dean and he is an adorable white ball of cuteness," her voice speaks in a tone both calming and nurturing.

    "L..l..like me~nyu?," quietly asking as my curiosity takes over "d..d..does he live in your dorm~nyu?"

    "Yes he does. Want to see?" She tells me obviously happy that I like cats.

    "Maybe later, I need to calm down a bit more from earlier~nyu and Nymph onee-sama doesn't want me moving about much yet~nyu," I sadly respond hoping to see the kitten soon. We further discuss sleep and her dorm number before going our separate ways. Soon after, I ran into a strange elf named Ineen that I became great friends with due to our shared interest in technology. Then, I ran into an interesting pair of twins named Kurai and Kanji who seemed to be looking for each other and a mummy named Ezhyllia in front of a statue in the hall of heroes. She kindly gave me directions to the dorms. I started walking to the dorms when I got distracted and became lost again.
    Suddenly, a fox girl named Hikari, came up to me happily introducing herself. We talked for awhile, but I think she believed I was a girl, as when she lead me to the dorms, she brought me to the girl's dorms and seemed curious why I would ask about the boy's dorms. Next time, I'll probably have to bring it up. We became great friends, I think, but the biggest event happened when she left me, and I was tackled to the ground by a white haired catgirl.
